I took a trip to the Haynes Motor Museum for RRG ’09.  There were many cool cars there, and the trip around the museum was worth it.

The pics here tell the story of my weekend rather than of the show itself.  I convoyed down with a handful of other cool cars…

…and my usual partner in retro oriented crime, Rob Richardson aka Racer86.  Check out his blog in the blog roll.

First we’ll need plenty of this.

A quick few pics in the fading light having set up camp.

Here’s Nathan’s MG.  Considering I see him once a year and have met him only twice (in a field), it’s amazing how much I feel like I’ve known him forever!  This guy knows how to camp.  Top bloke.

Crack the beers out.

Burn your sausages.

Cue raging inferno.

Who might this dashing young lady be?  I’m sure there was a bloke in a red t-shirt earlier??  BEER.

I never seem to get real hangovers in the morning whilst camping; just a “special” feeling.  This pic says it all.

Just a few pics from the show.  This van was unusual.  And low!

This is a great sleeper.  You could take some people down a few pegs in this.

Drift demo around the small track.  I attempted something similar but my axle almost fell out.  Check the pics on the Main Page.

I’d love one of these.  I wonder just how practical they are?  Are you better off in a tent?  I hope not.
